VyprVPN: VPN Secure & Private App Reviews

Unlike others, I have no issue connecting on my ipad. Recently however, Netflix doesnt work on while connected. This does not bode well for using it while traveling. Other than that I like it, I can watch a show I wanted to watch that doesnt allow viewers from the US.

Bought this VPN service to outsmart the Great Firewall of China but it didnt work 9 out of 10 times. Unable to load most major websites. No refund offered.

Fast connections, easy to use, loads up quick, secure, the best VPN, I have ever used…use it on my desktop, my wifes phone and iPad as well as my own…Great support and service….no problems on my end...Highly Recommended!

Has to be deleted and reinstalled every couple days otherwise is freezes up and blocks all in and out data traffic.

I love the service so far. Any time my iPhone connects with the internet, I see the VPN symbol come up at the top of the screen, and know that my IP address is hidden. I have verified this through several different "VPN test links", that others can go to if they want to check their own device. I also use the service for my wifes cell phone, and our shared home computer as well. And, I know the service is working there like it should too. I did have a little trouble getting my wife setup, and I think the developers could make the instructions a little easier. Also, maybe provide better "foot-note-pop-up links" explaining the different settings, "how they should be set?" and "what is recommended?", but for the security that it offers, it was worth it. Regardless, Im giving the app 5 stars in the hope that this comment will make its way to the developers of it. Otherwise, the service is very stable, and stays connected without dropping off-line.

Easy setup, always connects, does what it says it does.

This seems like a scam. Along with other people I signed up with my email address and after a few mins of use they locked my account and said sorry we cant offer you service.

Works simply and speeds are phenomenal

Terrible . Says its connected to server in a particular place but it connects to some other places server. Totally different. Not reliable.

Im a VPN guy and decided to test Vypr after hearing great things about it. They were all true - its a terrific and fast VPN with a really good iPhone/iPad App. Biggest downsides is that its fairly pricy for the Pro plan compared to competitors and only 3 connections really limits its usefulness when many of us have more than 3 devices. Come on guys - its 2017!!! Also, needs Chameleon and other features that the web controls have that are not offered in the App. With improvements like these, will be a 5 star VPN!

Im a pretty big advocate of privacy and security. Finding this company and an app that lets me set it and forget it when it comes to untrusted (not at home) Wi-Fi networks was AWESOME. It just turns on when it connects to them; it turns off when its out of range. And best of all, at home it just stays off. Support has been great...friendly and helpful as well. Thanks for a great product.

I love everything about this vpn. I know they are trusted and secure. My only concern is the steep price.

After more than 10 hours of failure with another provider and some substantial research, I found VyprVPN. I chose it specifically because I use a Tomato flashed ASUS router purchased from FlashRouters and wanted to use VyprVPN software to flash the router and update the software for VyprVPN. Golden Frogs instructions to update the router were perfect and worked first time. Their software installed on the router as quickly and easily as the flash. Had excellent support from FlashRouters too in this process. Have also installed their software on my iPads and MacBook Pro. Yes, my VPN speed is substantially less than the speed I get when directly connected to my ISPs router. But I can stream video without buffering which was my first goal. This is using PPTP. OpenVPN, while more secure, was still slower. I believe (but dont know) that this may be due to the processor in the modem and the encryption. Changing servers on the router software is easy, just a few clicks. No cut and paste. No restarts. I will convert to an annual membership from a month to month now that it all works.

Great app but its costly for the unlimited package offered. Lowering the price would make the app even more greater.

This app works great! You need an account with VyprVPN, I have one that includes my phone, and also my home router — the phones app can auto-connect when your phone connects to wifi in airports etc.

Right when I signed up I created an account and it said my account was locked. I emailed them and they unlocked my account a few hours later it was locked again I emailed them again. I received this reply back "Weve finished reviewing your account, and unfortunately were not able to offer you service at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience." They will not unlock my account nor tell me why it is locked.

I am an American living abroad and I love my Netflix, but for the past few months I have been unable to view Netflix USA because they detected my vpn usage (ipvanish) then I decided to give VyprVPN a try and now I can watch Netflix USA again which is awesome. VyprVPN is a lot more expensive than most other vpn services but it works great. I would definitely recommend this company.
